The neat thing about blogging is that it feels like you get to travel the world and make appearances in newspapers and websites from every continent, all while in reality you are just occasionally sitting in your office typing some shit into the computer.
These Internet Road Trips have been building up over the years and we’ve started showing up in some pretty mainstream places. I view this as a very good thing, since the goal of this blog is to spread the ideal of a Frugal yet Badass life of leisure throughout society.
As a rule, I don’t go actively seeking publicity but do my best to respond to media requests for interviews. If you’re a journalist working on a story, feel free to get in touch using the contact form. But remember this is an early retirement blog, so there may be some occasional violation of deadlines.

Dear Peter Adeney,
I hope this finds you well. I’m a journalist at the Guardian, where I write for the Guardian Long Read. We are planning to rung a long (5000 word+) article about the FIRE movement. Many of the people I’ve spoken to involved with FIRE cite your blog as a huge inspiration.
I’d be delighted to do an interview with you for this piece, to ask you about the genesis of the blog and how you’ve found it helps people. I’m keen to give our readers an insight into why FIRE has become so popular, and don’t think it’s possible to do that without featuring Mr Money Mustache.
Do let me know if you would be available for a Skype or Zoom interview. I’m flexible and can work around your schedule.
Best wishes,
Hettie O’Brien

Wow, how interesting that you are the first and only person to post a comment on this page. Thank you Hettie!
I replied to you via the email you shared in the contact form. And for anyone in the future (April 2023 or later) reading this: go search for that Guardian article online and see how it came out!
